If you ever need a comfortable, convenient place to work, for just a few hours or for a month or two, try The Portal.  You can hot-desk here occasionally  or move in, it’s up to you.  Even better, to help you budget, you can pay as you go.  Costing only £6 a day + vat, or £50 + vat for a full month, our prices are affordable for just about anybody.

Jo Singh, Virtual Sidekicks

Jo Singh’s business Virtual Sidekicks provides website content and image editing, marketing and event support.  Jo lives locally and combines working at home in Newcastle’s West End with at least one day a week in The Portal

Chris Dawson, SES

Chris helps people around Newcastle and across the North East to set up in business, providing advice and support during the early days of starting out. Sustainable Enterprise Strategies (SES) is a social enterprise company and as Chris is out and about with new businesses a lot of the time he uses The Portal as his office base when he needs one. 

Sandra English, Mirror Image Coaching

Sandra delivers courses and workshops on an individual and group basis, helping her customers to learn new techniques to equip them to make positive changes in their lives.  Sandra runs her business on the move, so she uses the Portal as a base for working on the business and meeting clients.

The Portal is ‘home’ to a real mix of people who use the space for different reasons.  Some are in the process of setting up a business;  many work from home and just need a change of scene, or they use it as a place to work between meetings;  and we also have customers who work for larger companies and use The Portal as their local office base.  What they all have in common is that they’re happy to support and share business experiences, and help you to make new connections that will be good for you and your business.
